Our Story

Belle Vie Travel was founded by Tonya Waite after a personal loss reminded her that life is meant to be lived, not postponed. The name Belle Vie means "beautiful life" in French, honoring her family's heritage and belief that travel should be meaningful, not exhausting to plan.

With over 20 years in the travel industry — from agency training to corporate and leisure travel — Tonya wanted to create something different: a service built on genuine connection, honest guidance, and time well spent. Belle Vie Travel exists for people who wish to travel with confidence and purpose, without the planning overwhelm.

In 2025, Tonya's sister, Deanna Otero, joined as a Travel Advisor, bringing her extensive travel experience through Europe, and a fresh perspective shaped by years of military life and motherhood. She understands how precious vacation time is and specializes in helping clients balance must-see experiences with time to relax and enjoy.

Together, they share a simple mission: to make travel feel personal, well-planned, and genuinely worthwhile.
